All-on-Four Implant System

All On Four Implant Sistemi Dt Ayse Erken 1

In cases where all teeth are missing in the lower or upper jaw, a fixed prosthesis is placed on only 4 implants. Two implants are placed in the front, and two implants are placed in the back at an angle (30–45 degrees). This angle increases bone support and allows it to be applied even in patients with insufficient bone volume. Temporary prosthesis is usually placed on the same day.

Application Stages

  • The bone structure is analyzed with 3D tomography.
  • The position and angle of the implants are determined.
  • 4 implants are placed under local anesthesia. If done with a surgical guide, the flapless technique is preferred.
  • During the surgery of angled implants, it is important to see the mental nerve, especially in the lower jaw, even with tomography.
  • Aesthetics and function are provided by placing temporary prostheses on the same day. Temporary prostheses may not be applied immediately if the primary stability of the implants is not sufficient.
  • It is waited for 2–4 months for the implants to fuse with the bone (osseointegration).
  • After the healing is completed, permanent porcelain or zirconium prostheses are placed.

Advantages

  • Temporary teeth can be placed on the same day (immediate loading). The patient can have all their teeth in a single session.
  • It is a long-lasting and durable solution.
  • Stops bone loss under the prosthesis and even supports bone regeneration.
  • Thanks to the angled implant placement, it is ideal for patients with insufficient bone support.
  • Thanks to the fixed prosthesis, natural tooth appearance and chewing function are provided.
  • Allows you to chew and speak like your own teeth.
  • Offers cost advantage with fewer implants.
  • Provides a faster solution.

Who Can Apply?

  • Those who have lost all their teeth: It can be applied to anyone whose jawbone is of sufficient density.
  • Those who are uncomfortable with conventional dentures: It offers a more stable solution for those who experience problems with the movement and retention of dentures.
  • Those who experience bone resorption: It is advantageous because it requires less bone tissue than other implant methods. Ideal for patients who have lost all their teeth or have severe tooth loss and have insufficient bone volume.
  • Long-term denture wearers: It is an ideal solution to prevent bone resorption under the denture.
