Main Treatments Applied in Cosmetic Dentistry:
Cosmetic dentistry offers many different treatment methods to beautify your smile. These methods allow you to achieve a more aesthetic appearance by improving the color, shape, size, and position of the teeth. Here are the most frequently used cosmetic dentistry treatments:
- Whitening (Bleaching): It is applied to remove yellowing and stains on the teeth. There are home type and office type whitening methods.
- Composite Laminate (Bonding): It is used to correct small fractures, shape disorders, gaps between teeth, and color differences in the teeth. Aesthetic filling is done with composite resin material.
- Porcelain Laminate (Laminate Veneer): Thin porcelain veneers are applied to the front surfaces of the teeth. Shape disorders, discoloration, gaps, and small crowding in the teeth are corrected.
- Zirconium Crowns: Instead of metal-supported porcelain, aesthetic and durable zirconium material is used. It provides a natural look, especially in the front teeth.
- E-Max Crowns: These are glass-ceramic crowns that provide high aesthetics. Thanks to its transparent structure, it is very similar to the appearance of natural teeth.

- Botox: Dentists in this field generally apply treatments for the chewing muscles, which we call masseter botox. In addition, in a patient with a gummy smile, the visibility of the teeth and gums will be significantly reduced with a botox injection to the upper lip, and the patient will have an aesthetic smile.
